So, it’s the last day of February. Hope you’ve enjoyed the Romance calendar as much as I have. This monthly project is definitely a challenge for me, in concept and design, and I like it. A style has been established, which is what ties each calendar together. There were many directions this could have gone, but I guess we’ll save those ideas for 2012 and so on. Overall, the idea behind the entire calendar series is to communicate and share with all of you what Thirsty is about and to create some buzz for my shop! I am not sure yet if anything will embody the look of the calendars or not. As of now, the first few things I am working on for the shop do not. Everything will fit within the Thirsty brand, but each item will have it’s own message and the “Thirsty for” will not necessarily be on them.
For those of you that know me pretty well, you know I can’t just put anything out there without some sort of structure and purpose (that would be too “flying by the seat of my pants” – something I am not good at!). So, I appreciate your patience while I get things together. March is definitely the month where things will develop into something more. I am currently working with a programmer on perfecting the design of this website. It should launch in the next week or two. Additionally, I am working on the shop items and some should be up in the next three weeks. There is something so intimidating about trying to break out and share your art with the world because the way you see things is not how everyone will. But I do hope there is something for all to enjoy.
In the meantime, the March calendar will be available for downloading tomorrow. I know you’re all sitting on the edge of your seat……. ![]()
