THE CONCEPT FOR THIRSTY EMERGED AFTER MARIA PASTORE DESIGNED A SET OF COASTERS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS SIX YEARS AGO, WHICH SHE UNIMAGINATIVELY DUBBED THE THIRSTY COASTERS. WHILE THE NAME MAY HAVE LACKED ORIGINALITY, IT SPARKED AN IDEA: EVERYONE IS THIRSTY FOR SOMETHING™, WHETHER IT IS A CAUSE, A SOLUTION, AN ISSUE, A FEELING OR A DESIRE.
